ELF cosmetics 33% off

Hi guys,

elf (eyes lips face) cosmetics running a 33% off everything promotion at the moment, discount code is mad33. Everything is cheap as chips anyways (€1.70/€3.50/€4 etc) so the extra discount is great, plus p&p is only €4.54, perfect for recessionista fashionistas. I am a complete make up snob, very fussy, and usually don't stray beyond Mac, Bobbi Brown or Smashbox but I've done my research and spoken to a few of my friends in the know and they all really rate the quality of the stuff.

For 100 squid i got the following:

tinted moisturiser, 2 all over colour sticks, 1 all over cover stick, clarifying powder, pressed powder, 4 cream eyeliners, 2 mascaras, false eyelashes, single eyehadow, 2 eyeshadow palettes, 3 liquid eyeshadows, eye transformer palette, 5 bronzers, 6 blushes, 9 nail varnishes, french manicure set, lip liner, 2 lip glazes, 2 plumping and 2 hypershine glosses, 6 lipsticks, 2 glossy lipshines, 6 luscious liquid lipsticks, 2 conditioning balms, 4 brushes and a set of eyeshadow applicators.

Another note- the cream eyeliners and liners and powders come with their own brushes/sharpeners/puffs which also saves some moolah.

Not a bad haul!

i think the katy perry reference is that she cakes herself in make up and because your order is so big.. :P

Oh I see, now I get it, obviously I would not be wearing it all at the same time though, that should go without saying but i just said i would put it out there!

just wondering is it the UK site you are ordering off?

I was going to order but then I noticed the price difference on the different sites and it bugged me! lol

Something that costs $1.00 on the US site (0.70 cent) is €1.00 on the French site and £1.50 (€1.71) on the UK site! I know it is still cheap but its the principle of the thing......

got my delivery today

have only used the matt topcoat polish, very noice!
it all seems decent quality, considering how cheap it all was.

i got my boxes last week and i am delighted with everything, like i said already i am a complete cosmetics snob but i cannot fault the quality of anything i have gotten, all their powders are so pigmented, really blendable. The only thing i will say is that some of the swatches online for the nail polishes and lipsticks are not really accurate but I haven't received anything horrible.

I have €270 worth of stuff in my wishlist and just waiting for the next code to come up, think I'll try to be strong and wait for a 50% off coupon code because even though its so cheap already it would kill me to pay for it today and then for an offer to be up tomorrow! I am stalking their facebook page and they are hinting that they might throw up a free shipping offer but that's only €4.50 off and obv i'd rather pay shipping and get 50% off or 33% at the very least, esp now that they have had their restock! This has been such a find for me, i was a complete MAC fiend, and even though i wouldn't be too adventurous when it comes to things like foundation (i am a studio fix girl through and through!), the quality of everything i have gotten has really impressed me and the staying power is really good!

Should definitely start a new ELF only trend in fashion and appearance to compare reviews and swatches, wonder would there be much appetite for it?

I've been buying from them for a few years and I've never seen a 50% off voucher. Usually just Free Delivery.

The mineral stuff is lovely. Eyebrow kit and Kabuki brushes are great. Blusher colours not great for me. Nail varnish needs a top coat to last.

They defo had a 50% off everything offer at the start of august, i was on holidays at the time, gutted, and they had 33% off offers both 2 weeks ago and last week. When i order i usually get about 20 items so free shipping isn't really a huge incentive for me and i know its cheap already but i would be kicking myself if a coupon code came up the day after i ordered. I cannot believe the quality for what you pay and what i like the most about their products is that they are very buildable. I haven't been hugely disappointed with anything but i have been so impressed with some things, like the cream eyeliners, these are so resistant, they go on so creamy but they don't budge even on nights out, I used to use bobbi brown gel eyeliners but i am trying to convert the masses to elf. The mineral range is fantastic, the studio range is great and i must say even the essentials line is top class, only thing is swatches on the website are sometimes a bit misleading but nothing that i have ever gotten from them has been horrible. The thing i am most disappointed with is the natural nymph mineral lipstick, i just think the colour washes me out, it is very pale and i prefer darker lips generally but it was like €2.68 or something ridiculous like that.

They just released a free shipping code this morning on their facebook site: QHIP123EU, valid until 5pm on Aug 23rd, but I am going to hold out for a 50% again i think, i have like almost €300 worth of stuff in my wishlist!!

EDIT: Just realised my ELF emails were going to my spam folder, there have been fairly regular 50% off vouchers according to the emails.

I am totally a kid at Christmas, i love cosmetics, i love trying things out! Thanks very much, needless to say if the offer comes out i will put it up on boards, of course after I spend a small fortune on more make up which i probably don't need! x

That's great to know, i am still fairly new to the elf scene so I am defo gonna be strong and hold out now, i reckon they'll do another 50% off when they reach 250,000 followers on facebook so I am willing on numbers!
