Many TV movies and miniseries, especially on the cable side, are envisioned as potential back-door pilots, but rarely any spawn series. Exceptions include Syfy's successful Battlestar Galactica and USA's not-so-successful The Starter Wife.

^ a more recent example that Deadline failed to mention, VH1's Single Ladies...they liked the tv movie so much it also got a 10 episode order + was such a hit ordered a second season.

I saw the headline and was hoping this would be a legal drama

It's not but the Client List was still a decent film, this could be a succuss

I saw this pop up online, Jennifer Love Hewitt as a masseuse that gives happy endings? That must be good, I thought.

I couldn't get over the show though, it seemed to have a message that whoring is just fine and dandy. They completely gloss over the happy endings part of her job. They even go as far as to show all her normal clients as disgusting people and all her Johns as rich and powerful men with perfectly sculpted bodies and pleasant dispositions.

I thought this show just glamorised whorin', it was so preposterous it could only have been written by a 15 year old boy. It's complete and utter nonsense.

2 parter season 2 finale last night, but with JLH 3 months preggers one wonders if there will be a third season?....by the time she pops they'll need to start shooting on season 3 and a long delay could hurt ratings......be interesting to see if its axed.

Started on Lifetime UK channel on Sky tonight even though the show has been cancelled in the US

I havent seen it myself yet, but she has a habit of getting engaged to her co-stars on her shows like Ghost Whisperer to Jamie Kennedy, as i remember reading a story of him in an Irish sunday mag, bringing her home to meet relations in the NW afaik.
The network will do a good job in covering up this story, as i hear they're good at that
