Fused spur question

    Hi lads,

    Looking to wire LED lights in the kitchen from a socket. Am I right in saying I can loop off the socket with 2.5 cable into a 5A switched fused spur and 1.5 from spur to lights. Lights are only 1watt each so no more than 8watts.

    Yep sounds ok to me. Obviously better if you could take from a lighting circuit, but nothing wrong with what you've proposed...
