Making things from recyclable materials

I need to make something from recyclable materials. Finding it hard to think of something to make, I've made an Indian temple of cardboard, plastic bottles and broken bottle glass before. I kind of need it to look well polished but it needs to be obvious that I've used recyclable material. Any ideas would be very helpful :-)

I would just google your query - there is so much on the internet. Are you restricted to glass? I've seen so many blogs about recycling such as http://www.whatimade.com

Not restricted to glass, I just prefer it. I think it stands out more infront of a sea of toilet roll lighthouses
