Does anyone know if you can change your payments from weekly to monthly without having to re-apply for the loan? It would make my life so much easier right now! :pac:

Also- anyone hear word on Visa Debits by AIB? I really want one but I don't know if they will do them- I used to ask all the time!

    Edit:

Visa debits apparently on the way but will take >1 year!

No problem changing the repayment frequency. Just contact them and ask. As long as you're not asking to change the term or increase the limit, it's not considered a new application.

I've done it with a loan I had a couple of years ago, just contact the bank and they'll do it. Just make sure the monthly amount is calculated properly. When I changed mine the just multiplied my weekly payment by 4. It was fixed anyway.
