recommend mechanic to change cv joint in cork city (Bishopstown area)

    As the title says! need right cv joint and boot replaced on a 94 corolla.
    Just moved here so dont know the garages yet. Advance want 120 :rolleyes:
    Would attempt myself but no tools or space in my new place.
    Thanks for any suggestions

    I doubt you'll find cheaper to be honest. Automotif by kinsale road roundabout I have used in the past, good crowd.

    Went to automotif. They did it for 110 which i am happy with. Very good to deal with and very professional. good recommendation.

    They're spot on in fairness, the chap who owns MotorWay (the motor factors next to AutoMotif) opened up AutoMotif a couple of years ago. He's in the parts trade for years and with AutoMotif I reckon he's after providing exactly what most motorists need, honest and no bull service and expertise. When he opened it he was telling me he was hiring mechanics only even though from the outside it could be mistaken for a tyre and exhaust place (which it is of course but it's also a proper garage).

    I'm glad you were happy with the recommendation.
