    Morning folks,

last night my mother was booking flights from dublin to luton on the 23rd of august and home via east midlands -dublin on the 27th.

Unfortunately she booked by mistake and ended up with a flight from east midlands to dublin on the 23rd instead of the 27th.

So i corrected her mistake and booked two proper flights as was afriad the price would go up if i left it.

However i am still stuck with this other flight she booked which cost 60 quid which is of no use.

Rang ryanair this morning and was on hold for 25 mins, felt like throwing the pohone at the wall, then eventually i get a woman in reservation who says she cant help me and to email them. I said no way as i know how long that would take, then she gives me a dud number to ring which wont ring at all.

Has anyone a number i could ring even if it is only to let off a bit of steam ( i mean a ryanair number before u smartasses start),

I have use them for two flights and simply lookin a refund on the one booked by mistake, there are still plenty of spaces left on that flight so its not as if i took up a valuable seat,,

    Thanks

    Smurph

Ryanair don't do refunds if the mistake is 100% not theirs.

I'm sorry, but you are just going to have to let it go.

Email them the details as requested and at least you have a record of the conversation.
Why you feel the need to let off steam at someone not involved in your mothers f-up is bizarre.

Ryanair rarely do refunds, customer service does not seem to exist, that's how LC's make money. Once did a booking with JET2, put in wrong date, rang them straight away, yes they would change the date , for £70, this for a booking I made 5 minute priviously, so my advice, save your blood pressure and forget about it.

I didnt say for my mothers f-up but for the way they take 25 mins to answer, tell you your through to the wrong number when this is the one clearly marked for these queries, then they give you a phone number to ring which is a dud number.

That ok for you or is that response still bizarre.

OP, in the bold text you ask about getting a refund and Drunk monkey duly gave good advice. There is no need to abuse him. Ryanair have a process for handling refund claims and that's it. If you don't like it, waste your money and breath complaining. But don't waste people's time here looking for advice if you're not going to take it or argue the point.

As for the text I've underlined, Travel isn't AH and the Mods will deal with any smartass replies. Thread closed.
