CO2 Motor Tax

    Apologies if this has been covered previously but a search didn't pick up anything.

    If you purchase a 2nd hand car that was registered between January 2008 and July 2008 can you apply for CO2 based car tax if it hasn't already been done?

    It should already be on the cheaper of the 2 motor tax options available for that particular scenario.

    Hello,

    I'm about to buy 08 mazda 2.0l diesel -156 road tax.

    I heard a rummor, that from next year, goverment is going to old system of car taxation? So for 2.0l it will come back to ¬600E? Did anyone else heard it or it is just a rummor?
