I've read in another thread that the 77 is been joined with the 27 and and the 77A is been done away with. However on the Dublin Bus site it only says the 27 and 77 are been merged and that the 77A will remain as a hugh frequency service.

Can anyone confirm if the 77A is to remain in operation?

As it stands that is the case:

Routes 27 and 77 will merge, and the 77a will continue to operate but will be extended to Citywest via Killinarden.

The details on this page reamain the latest issued information, except that route 65b is now to be retained but operating via Firhouse, Ballycullen, Aylesbury and Killinarden to Citywest.

When is the 77 being merged with the 27?

Also what bus would you then get to/from Pearse Street, Ringsend to/from Crumlin Hospital? - Edited to say - Sorry I assume this would be the high frequency 77a....

As yet no date has been published - it is dependent upon agreement being reached on rosters and the NTA approving the schedules.

Changes appear to be happening every two weeks, with 7-10 days notice beforehand.

The 77a will still link Ringsend with Crumlin.
