EBS mastercard debit question

    Got my new Mastercard Debit card today in the post. It says on the back of the sheet that all purchases in shops and online are free. etc. Is this true ?

    I know you get 5 free atm withdrawls a month if you have a min of E500 in your account in that month.

    I'm basically saying because it's unclear to me, " Are purchases in shops using this card free?" I'll have to ring the bank and clarify this.

    Any info will be appreciated.
