Home Heating Oil disposal

    I have replaced my oil central heating for gas recently I am left with a tank of Home Heating oil about 1/4 full.

    Is there a way of getting this disposed of (including the tank).

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Put it on gumtree.ie and it will be gone in a week

    Hey,

    Im in the same posistion. Il have the keys to my house in a week or two. Im am changing from oil to gas and there is a 3/4 full tank there.

    Theres a few groups of lads goin around the country offering this service, Had my tank emptied twice by them, they didnt even need a key for the lock

    oil companies wont buy it back now,because of the dirt that thet suck up off the tank and into the tanker system,and if that dont mess things up bad enough if they deliver the bad oil to another customer they have to foot the repair bill for the boiler breakdown,
    pm me anyone for details for the removal of oil and tanks,
