    100kg x 3 - Fail - Told spotter "Unless the bar falls back onto my face, hands off; I'll be grand." He says "No problem." First two reps flew like there was no weight. Third rep was slower but still fucking easy. Got halfway up and yer man grabs the bar. I stop and say "Leave it!" and he starts pulling. I say again "LEAVE IT!!!" and he keeps pulling. Was beyond the halfway mark and just about to lock out when he grabbed it. The lift was there and it was easy. Until the cunt jumped in. Ugh.

  • i generally find a good beating sorts out useless spotters....i find if you have some boards near by for board pressing they are very effective correcting spotters..

    one of my favorite moves is a stone cold stunner onto the barbell after they take it on you..sorts them out every time

    Fact. If you don't instruct spotters using the following methods:
    - abuse
    - intimidation
    - threat of physical violence
    - Actual physical violence
    - Spitting/foaming at the mouth
    - Diagrams on how to spot and/or powerpoint presentation
    - showing them a picture of their family then showing them a picture of your knife
    - Show them a picture of Drifter holding your knife in their families Kitchen

    Then chances are they're going to f*ck you over

  • Brought the girlfriend to the gym today, finally! She deadlifted a very solid 50kg for a single. *sexual predator mode: activated* Very proud of her, she took to all the lifts with great ease. With great thanks to Jayroc and banshee_bones for the help!


    My session went pretty well too! Mostly stretching/messing/spotting but deadlifted 160kg for 3x3 which was the target for the day and felt great!




  • Today was boring as fuck. I've an injured shoulder and wrist so benching is out for (hopefully only) the next 4 weeks or so.
