2005 Avensis Strata 1.6 Insurance

    Hello,

    I have heard that 2005 Avensis Strata 1.6 is 04d (4 wheel Drive) and wondering does it cost more to insure in ROI ? I have 4 years of claims free driving experience and would like to buy this family car . Any helps appreciated..

    Unless it's a JDM car I've never heard of a 4x4 Avensis

    If it is a 1.6 it's not a 4x4 or D4D.

    It's just a plain Jane Avensis and insurance should be easily attainable

    The Avensis 1.6 is front wheel drive

    The diesel model is called D-4D but is also 2wd

    its a 1.6 petrol, and the description is "STRATA 4DR 1.6 SALOON 04DR 04D"

    It's just a standard Avensis.

    04D stands for 2004 Dublin reg;)

    That means it has 4 doors

    Yes you are correct its not 4 wheel Drive, its 4 Door.Its a confusion on the descriprion given on history check.(checked with Dealer aswell)
