Hi Ive just finished my leaving cert and am thinking about starting up a computer repair business.
I already have a fairly successful mobile repair bussiness and usually get a few jobs a week (which is grand due to the lack of overheads).
Although i havent got the qualifications i can do just about anything even component level motherboard repairs.
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me? or warnings?

    Thanks,
    Jack :D

You might want to be able to spell the word "business". :pac:

I think word of mouth will work for you. Try making a few flyers and let it snowball from there. Maybe a facebook page. Or post up an advertisement on Gumtree.

EDIT: Or why not tag it along with the mobile one?

Well i would assume that having a shop would inspire more confidance and increase the amount of customers. would it not?

    Thanks for the reply,

No No no no, Screw the shop idea, Walk before you can run. Shops have rent, rates & insurance to pay before you know it you will be working just to have the shop.

Work from home and keep the overheads down, the flyers and facebook page are good , simple and cheap ideas.
