12.30 is as early as bars can open on a Sunday ... you may wish to queue outside Bermingham's in Dorset Street..........

Jurys Hotel Croke Park opens earlier. You might get into Hill 16 bar with a knock on the door!!!!

Do early-houses open on a Sunday?

I believe O'Sheas on the corner of Gardiner St might be open before 12.30

Slattery's on Capel Street will be open from 7am and you can have breakfast as well.

i think if you head out towards Croke Park anytime after 10am you will certainly not die of thirst though the front may look closed.

enjoy by match, i'm going for a draw so you may be back the fallowing week.

I could never understand why anyone would want to drink before watching a game of football.
I find it hard enough to take in all thats happening sober!
    Maybe it's just me?

Regularly travel up to Dublin for hurling games.

Also find that the Temple at top of Dorset Street is good. You'll get a pint there well before 12am.

Other's that are usually early 'Delahunty's, The Wellington & Joxer Daly's - all close together on upper dorset street.

I think Slattery's opens early on Saturdays, not Sundays.
