Found another irish deal site at www.mad4deals.com. Seems pretty good but they don't have email alerts on it for some reason.

Sort out your page loads. Maybe it's just me but your website takes an age to load and is unusable while it's loading. This was using Google Chrome 13.0.782.112

Thanks for the feedback Little Miss Cutie and AlmightyCushion.

Google Plus One is slowing down the page loading. It was instant before we added that...

Maybe we'll remove the Plus One buttons on each deal until Google speeds things up a little.

Sadly can't access your website get the following error message.

    The connection has timed out

The server at www.mad4deals.com is taking too long to respond.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I also tried google chrome and no joy.

    Hi Ronan,
Are you using Irish Broadband as your ISP by any chance? We have heard reports of Irish Broadband customers not being able to hit our url... :(

Yep I am using Imagine who used to be Irish Broadband. I managed to view your site on another ISP. Do you have any idea why Imagine/Irish Broadband is not letting me view it?.

I prefer dealpage because you're getting 6 deals to a page, so you can scroll through them quicker

mad4deals rep, the deal description text isnt really necessary on the main page imo, if people are interested in the deal they'll click on it and then read the long-winded description there
just by cutting out the description, you could fit 3 deals to a screen rather than just 2

Great suggestion groutch. We're not too fond of the horizontal list here but we've made some changes so that everyone should be able to see at least 4 deals without scrolling depending on their screen size. Check it out and tell us what you think. Three new providers are listed now too! :)

that looks alot better, much easier on the eyes, and easier to scroll through
also like the filter options, lets me cut out all the beauty treatments I have no interest in
