    They seemed to return quickly, would they normally have to dump fuel due to being over the recommended landing weight? Or was this something left out of the video?

    They may not have been above the maximum structural landing mass. Very possible this was a flight to Spain or Greece which would not require full tanks. No idea of the specifics of the 757 however re mass and balance

    They did decide to take up the hold at Wallacy and the video was edited so we dont know how long they decided to hold for?

    I think the crew decided to go in to a hold so they could talk to their maintenance base and decide where best to divert too. They would have wanted to go to an airport where they could carry out an engine change. Thompson wouldn't want to be some where a replacement engine was days away or no facilities to carry out the change. It wasn't really a 'Mayday'. More of a 'Pan Pan'.
