How can it be real when it's not real? Nobody can do it under controlled conditions - it doesn't exist. It's just a trick, and they gave it a pseudo-science name so suckers would believe it more.

Dont believe but its good entertainment.

Blain isn't magic but don't criticize him for it.

You wouldn't criticize a comedian even if he's largely obscuring fact to find satire.

I believe that that the human brain is far, far more able to do stuff than what we are currently able to do at present.
I read a number of times that we only use between 5% and 10% of all our current brain cells.

Not sure about psychokinesis but I do think we are - or will in future, be able to do more.
What that is, is beyond most of us for the moment.

There was an American TV Show in the 80's where the star could move stuff, etc. Can't think of the name of it now!

I was stabbed fifteen times in the head. Lucky for me it was in the 90% I never use!

    Cheers, interesting.
I still feel we have not yet grasped the fullness of our capabilities.

Like all paranormal phenomena, if it was real it wouldn't require belief.

...and all this time I thought Biggins was a rationalist. :(

I had a crazy religious nutter for an Irish teacher and he said that everyone uses only 10 percent of their brain except for one man .... Jesus.
He used his increased brain power to create food and walk on water according to him.

I'm going to steal that quote. Did you come up with it?

As far as I know I just came up with it there! Unless I subconsciously stole it from somewhere.

While we might not fully understand what the Brain does, we do know a hell of a lot about the Neuron cells that make it up. There's no magic cluster of cells which have the ability to radiate distant forcefields in order to move stuff about/bend spoons, nor do they have the ability to talk to your dead Aunty Mary.

Evolution/Natural Selection would have made us all have this ability by now if it were even possible.

    No, Irish! :p
(in truth, it was just something I read)

Aaa... well he's allowed an opinion to be fair.
like Tom Cruise and his about aliens dumping bodies into volcano's from the equivalent of air-force bombers, its certainly out there - but each other there own!
