What phone was it? Also I'm sure you've already notified your network to block the imei and sim?

iPhone's, BlackBerry's and Android devices can be tracked but not sure of Nokia's unless you've got the software installed on the phone prior to loosing it I'm afraid.

You can install free tracking software on a Symbian^3 or S60 Nokia phone. Not sure about the C2-01, but you haven't tried obviously. No way to track it so. Best thing to do it ring up and get it blocked.

A C2-01 can't be tracked that way, but I find donedeal.ie can be a great place to track stolen phones. Phone your operator and get the phone blocked. If you don't know the IMEI, give them your mobile number.

If it's a pre-pay, you've probably lost your credit by now, and you won't get it back. If it's a bill pay, tell them the last time you used it, and you should get subsequent calls reversed. Don't leave it too long, though.

The phone has been blocked, the imei was on the box.

according to MyMeteor my credit is all still there, although whether that can be ported across to a new sim I don't know...

    Anyway, cheers for the help!

It can be ported over and you'll have the same number no problem. Just call meteor and they'll sort it, or drop into a store.
