Is this really discrimination?

Happened to be leafing through the internet this morning and came across this ad on Gumtree. Now, given that its the internet, i'm taking this woman's tale at face value with a pinch of salt, but, on a serious note, if its complete truth, is this discrimination, or a case of the Department only giving her what she's entitled to, and no more no less?
Im a single mother of 3 and two months ago i recieved a social welfare cheque of 4400 euro made payable to the person i was buying a car from.

The social refused to pay my car insurence & road tax which i had to save hard for, I find the social very hard to deal with. 5 years ago they gave me 6500 euro to buy my car and the timeing belt broke so now im left with a cheaper and older car.

I found out last week my friend got a cheque for 6700 euro last xmas to buy herself a car and yet she has 3 kids and one of the fathers paid for her insurence and tax.

My boyfriend told me to go to the legal aid board and sue the social for discrimination because im been treated unfairly.

I went to the social on thursday and when i asked why my friend got a bigger cheuqe than me they said each case is different. Im starting to feel like a second class citizen each time i go in there.

I would like to hear from anyone who has experianced the same problem, and there seems to be no writen rules on how much to give out by the amount of kids per house and i would like to know do you get more money say for 4 or 5 kids. I would really like to upgrade my car cos my boyfriend uses it for work and i have it only 3 weeks and its already starting to rattle. The social said i need to get a report on the car from the garage before they let me look for another yet they wont pay for the report. Im hitting a brick wall everytime i speak to them. I would be greatful for any advice given.

All joking aside, I can see this thread going the usual way of dole related threads.
    I'm outa here.

If they paid for her car then she should be bloody grateful! She could've got a good used car for less than the money she got from social welfare.

To be honest, I hope this isn't true. I'm not one to give out about dole scroungers, but that's a lot of money to waste.

OP, we don't need to import troll threads here, we have plenty of our own.
