And found out about Brittons Insurance which was 2400 Euro for Third party !

I know a few people who are with them and are paying around the same as you were quoted. They are a favourite for young drivers as they are one of the cheapest around. That's all I can say really, I wouldn't know much more about them and their T&C's.

Well first off they're actually only a broker. They insure young drivers with a company in london called Lloyds. It's called Asgard insurance(through llyods underwritten by another crowd blah blah blah).

Secondly id be fairly confident you'd get a way way better price if you actually ring them because they told me before they're online quote system doesnt return a quote for Asgard insurance. That 2400 you got back is probably from Aviva. My 21 year old brother got 1000 or so 3rd party in a 1.2, no ncb, leaner's permit just arrived in the post.

I'm with them 2 years now. Haven't had to deal with them properly yet. ;)

They were really open to negotiation on renewal as well to keep my business.

That's a good price your brother got. How long ago was this if you don't mind me asking ?

Always ring as many as physically possible, I know its tedious but its worth it at this price level.

Heres a few numbers I gathered to get you started. Aviva have always been the most competitive for me, me being a young driver with a sports car.

    Good luck!
