HTC Webstore. £33, but it'll deliver quick and you know it'll work. There'll be a shipping charge as well.

You might find the Duracell 2-in-1 usb charger useful as a back up. As far as I know there still around in Tesco - see Bargain Alerts thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056045761

I've charged my HTC Desire with it a few times without problems.

Most replacement batteries have been tested and reported in the xda-developers forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1128568).

    Summary of it all:
Anker 1900mAh is the best AND cheapest (pretty amazing)
Anything over 2000mAh is fake (more like 1200mAh in reality, worse than stock)

However, all the normal priced Anker ones (ca. €10) don't ship to Ireland, only UK, so hopefully you've a friend there who can send it on:)

I just ordered this from Amazon and to my surprise they'll deliver here.

They are no longer shipping this to Dublin :(

Just found out about Parcel Motel, an irish company which allows items to be sent to an address in the north and then they send it south to somewhere near you. Seems to be really good for getting around the problem "we only deliver to the UK"

Just ordered the battery using this service.
