APS M4 RIS System

    Hi guys, Airsoft n00b here, but I just got the APS RIS system today for my APS ASR101, but I'm having a hell of a hard time getting it on. It seems to be too long to fit the gun, which is weird since they're both APS brand.

    I can get the standard handguard off and on, but not the RIS.

    Am I missing something?

    If you look at the bottom of the front sight, you should see two screws on either side which need a small allen key to remove. Remove these screws, make sure not to lose them as they are small and you need them. Then you should be able to slide the front sight along the barrel to the proper length. Once you have it setup right for the handguard and it is facing up properly, just put the screws back in again until the sight is secure on the barrel.
