    Just started watching it last week,

    up to season 4 episode 7, just after the episode when dexter kills the photographer who turns out to be innocent.

    so class!

    season 3 was meh, but one and two were class, two being better what with the doakes storyline, although 4 is even better again, so good!!!!!!!!!!!
    love it!!!

    cant see how season 4 will ever be topped though, definitely some of the ebst tv viewing ive ever watched :)

    hopefully ill get it all watched soon and then let the excitement for season 6 build :P

    I watched the first 4 seasons recently as well, but I can't say I share your enthusiasm. It's awfully formulaic and recycles the same tropes and plot contriviances over and over. Unless season 6 gets fantastic reviews I think I'll be dropping it.

    If you like Michael C Hall in this you might want to check him out in Six Feet Under afterwards

    I wish i could get to watch season four all over again as if it was for the 1st time. John Litglow is nothing short of STUNNING in it. I'm a big fan of his anyway from 3rd Rock from the sun for his comedy. but my god is makes a good baddie. let me know what you think when you finish it.....
