    Hi all.

I'm looking to move from my iPhone 3G to a newer model soon. My 3G iw working fine apart from a few issues:

    1) The power / lock button became loose a while back and fell out, so I've no way to manually lock th phone

    2) The silent button has become erratic - flicking it to silent seems to put it between silent and loud, with almost constant vibrations.

    3) The volume up button isn't working

Software wise the phone is perfect but the above are annoying. Where in Dublin is recommended for unofficial repairs? And roughly how much could it cost? I'll be selling it on, but I'll only get the repairs done if they make financial sense.

Really would appreciate help guys, thanks.

you're talking €40-€50 supply/fit a new set of buttons, they are all on the same circuit, so when you replace on you replace the lot.

Thanks Cathal. Checked out your feedback and it all looks excellent. As soon as I get my new phone up and running, I'll drop in the iPhone 3G to you for a repair job :)
