    Tom, for your own sake, I hope you havent paid for that!

    To be blunt, Oxford and there so called assesments to see if you can be a pilot is like when your 17, going into town to find a driving instructor so you can get your full car licence, you find an instructor and they tell you "well lad, whats the craic? before you can take driving lessons with me you have to do my Car Driving assesment and it will cost you 200 pounds!" You do the assesment, then the driving instructor is in his local downing a few pints with the 200 quid you just handed him.....

    anyways, what im trying to tell you, you dont have to pay someone to find out if you can be a pilot or not !

    Oxford only want your money so they can keep there marketing team employed and keep printing shiney brouchers etc.

    p.s dont worry about the assesment, you can fail all those, the most important one is at the very end when they ask you this question ;
    How much money does Tom have in his bank account ?
    A) £0-£1000
    B) £1000-£10,000
    C) £10,000-£70,000
    D) £70,000-£120,000
    E) Mammy and daddy are loaded

    I'm not in the least surprised at the 2 answers above - I've always believed the most important attribute to be allowed undertake a Pilot Training programme is the ability to pay for it.
    (From the point of view of the school that is );)

    Absolutely agree. These "assessments" are a money making exercise and a way of getting you into their lair so to speak! The pilapt tests are interesting and all but at the end of the day they will take anyone with the money. I've certainly come across some individuals who i sincerely doubt would pass any such assessment conducted properly but yet, they had the money.... Needless to say they struggle big time and end up forking out even more money as they need more hrs, more ground and repeat pretty much every lesson they do
