Unlikely combinations in people

I have noticed an increasing amount of camp knackers around in recent times, it really is an unlikely combo

(by knacker I mean urban scumbag rather than traveller, haven't seen a camp traveller yet)

it's a little strange to say the least, they walk in quite a dainty manner, have the kind of high-pitched voice with the effeminate affectation yet still have the dodgy haircut, poor fashion sense and hard-faced scowl of the knacker

Has anyone else witnesses this lesser-spotted campus knackerus or am I doing too much illegal substances?

further feel free to add any other unlikely combinations of characteristics in the same person that you have observed

    I was kidding :).

I have noticed that camp thing as well. I think maybe society is becoming more accepting of different ways of behaviour is all.

Guys who act hard but have very well-maintained hair, both facial and head-topping varieties, and wear pink (sorry, "salmon") t-shirts.

While I believe they're perfectly entitled to shape their appearance however they want and don't judge them by how they look (much), it's strange, as culturally these things (and especially the colour pink) have for so long been seen as the opposite of the "macho" image these guys try to project.

Maybe West Side Story was onto something all those years ago...

I know a very camp gay Traveller. I was surprised to learn that the other Travellers in the town are mostly very accepting of his sexuality.

Wait, so now it's okay to call actual ordinary people knackers and not travellers?

That would be no. If you're going to call someone a knacker - make sure it's a traveller please.
