Facebook - who views your profile?

    Is there such a thing as a program/thingy that allows users to see who has looked at their FB profile?
    Is it an urban myth that such a thing exists? I have always been curious about this.

    It's just, as you say, an urban myth. There's no way to see who has viewed your profile.

    There's no native function in Facebook to do this.

    It could be done via an application but it would require both parties to install and give permissions to the app for it to work. Kind of defeats the purpose if you want to be a stalker!

    Here's the official Facebook word on the matter:

    Tracking Profile Views

    Profile viewer apps, also known as “Stalker” apps, are not allowed. Facebook does not provide apps with the technical means to allow people to track user profile views or see statistics on how often a particular piece of content has been viewed and by whom. Messaging or otherwise implying that an app can provide this information is prohibited.

    Those apps that claim to you who viewed your profile are linked to spam merchants
