    Hey Guys,

sorry if this has been done before but basically i am into the final 4 weeks of preparing for my trip...i have 5 weeks roadtrippin across America, then onto New Zealand for 3 weeks and then hitting Sydney to settle for a few months to get a few quid before heading on again...

I am just trying to figure out what in god's name to bring with me! going through the weather, September seems to be a nice month in America and the weather is manly nice and warm and when we hit NZ, it will be coming into Summer aswell but i dont know how much to bring of what???

any help would be appreciated! I have an 80L rucksack but all going well i dont want to fill it!

    Thanks in advance
    Karen

as little as possible. most things like sun cream, toiletries etc can be bought abroad much cheaper than in Ireland.

so, just pack things you won't easily be able to get over there, like your favourite bikini etc...

AS little as you can get away with and buy things along the way. I stopped a few months in Sydney but found it very difficult to save there, its quite expensive. I'd recommend some of the other cities which are a bit cheaper, Brisbane has fantastic weather and is cheaper however also quite, not party central.
