wheel comming off car today video

    was at work today and heard a car scraping along the road. looked out to see a car with no back left wheel driving along the road.
    went out to check the damage and got chatting to the driver.
    he was ferrying the car 3 miles to the garage, it had a badly worn rear wheel bearing.
    gave him a hand to jack up the car and put the hub back on again with no bearing.
    the whole wheel was moving 4-4 inches side to side.

    watching him drive off was hilarious.

    someone was looking out for him as his wheel missed a 2011 Hyundai i2 by inches. the wheel left a large mark on the wall. was lucky it did not hit the car or god forbid someone or the results could have been alot worse.

    car was 98 ford fiesta

    Considering the driver knew the car was damaged and was driving the car 3 miles to the garage, he wasn't exactly sparing the horses!
    He's very lucky not the have an claim against him over any damage or injury.
    Looking at the force of the wheel bouncing off the first wall, it could have seriously injured somebody, especially a child.

    FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

    You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

    Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

    the funniest thing is. we put it back on, with no bearing and no brake shoes, barley holding on and he continues on. i wouldn't be surprised if it happened again before he got to the garage

    I think I found the video of him arriving at the garage!
