can any1 tell me where to get alloys/rims/wheels to get for a 2008 1.8 diesel mondeo in Cork?
205/55R16 tires on (orginal 215/55R16 still on the back)

I've rung a couple of dismantlers (plouladuff and watergrass hill) and they don't have any alloys atm.
I get the impression alloys would be difficult to get used?
would prefer if they were alloys/original/stock but am open to suggestions...may have to go for dirty steals with hubcaps

I've checked, donedeal, gumtree, buyandsell, adverts.ie and ebay so far...

planning ahead to put 'winter tires' on.redface.gif

    thanks in advance

Gerlans car breakers are worth a call too, splendid chap, he'll take your number and get in touch if and when something comes in. Pouladuff Dismantlers are very yes or no sort of folk, not falling over themselves to help folk really.

AFAIK the older model wheels fit the new model. Should be plenty of those about. They might not look as good but beats hubcaps!

No joy this morning with him.
reckoned if he did have them they'd be going for 130/wheel.
I was thinking more like 40-50.

    Suggestions?

Done deal or ebay. Oh and look beyond Cork too.

    are you sure about this?
have decided to go for steels... forking out enough money as it is for winter tyres.
found a source of 16inch steels but for the older version of the Mondeo. they are 5 stud
just want to make sure they will fit the car and the tyres (205/55 R16) ok

Well an old housemate of mine had a 2008 new model Mondeo with the wheels that were optional on the 2001-2007 Mondeo LX.
