    Thanks Beasty Price in now....;)

Hi can you answer some the below queries before I submit an offer.

Is there a warranty with the bike, if yes how many years remaining, if I purchased the bike and there was a structural problem like a crack would you call the warranty in on my behalf, (assuming it cannot be transferred)?

Why are you selling the bike?

Has it been serviced is everything in working order?

Are the wheels the original wheels when you purchased the bike?

Is it full 105, crank set, brakes chain etc?

Is the frame free from cracks or have any structural faults?

How many miles approximately has it done?

Would you be prepared to meet half way between Galway and Dublin if we agreed on a price?

Don't mean to hijack the thread - but I have a 2010 Felt F5 and it's red like the one in the link above.

I think the one for sale may be a 2009 model F5. 2010 models only came in Red, and a Team Issue version (navy and blue and white).

I was wondering why I could not find a black one when i googled it - only found the red and navy, blue and white.

How do you find this bike any good?

I'm pretty sure that the bike advertised is 2009..http://2009.feltracing.com/09-catalog-international/road/performance-road/09-f5-sl-int.aspx.

€1100 is a little off the mark too from what I can see...

    1250 sterling = 1430 yo yo.

The bike structurally is totally mint.. ! I hardly used it and its just taking up room !

I will let it go for €920 seeing as I was led to believe it was 2010 (thats when I bought it)

It is all complete and original - nothing added - nothing taken away ! 105 chainset - Think the latest ones come with FSA ..Just had a complete service and is ready to go

    To answer some questions
Why are you selling the bike? Fed up with cycling

Has it been serviced is everything in working order? Yes full report available from dealer

Are the wheels the original wheels when you purchased the bike? Yes CXP22 on Felt Hubs

Is it full 105, crank set, brakes chain etc? Yes

Is the frame free from cracks or have any structural faults? Yes.. No accidents - no marks no blemishes - could be passed off as new

How many miles approximately has it done? 1100 miles - never seen rain

LOL Its called negotiating, you could counter the offer with another price, the bike was not worth €1100 or €930, based on its age, the type of 105, no warranty which I would consider very important due to the call back on this model by Felt in 2009. Clearly the other poster is not concerned with same issues and thinks the bike at €920 is a bargain.

So best of luck with sale.

Felt 2011 Bicycle F-Series Fork Recall
Due to a fork issue, Felt Bicycles has announced a voluntary recall on the following 2011 model-year F-series Felt bicycles: the F3, F4, F5, F5 Team and the F75. not the 2009 model.

Consumers should stop riding the recalled bicycles immediately and contact us to arrange for a free fork replacement.

These models were sold at Felt bicycle dealers for between $1,399 and $4,999. The model name is printed on the bicycle frame.

Although current forks do meet CPSC standards and while not a single fork has failed to this point, Felt’s independent US testing laboratory along with Felt’s own random testing protocol has detected a sampling that has not met Felt’s expected standard. No injuries have been reported.

Felt is in the process of procuring suitable after-market replacements and will be working with us to get this issue remedied as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Initial replacement forks will come from several manufacturers including Enve (formerly Edge), Easton and/or 3T.

    F3 F4

    F5 F5 Team

The OP says his model is 2010, not 2011

I have been in phone contact with stephenr and the bike is now sold

@Beasty could you please shut this thread down as I can see it becoming a slagging match .. Thanks
