JSA..Moving house!

    Hey everyone!

I'm currently on the JSA, living in Cavan, and hoping to move to Dublin in the next few weeks. (Better prospects in Dublin, I hope!)

I understand the procedure of moving house, e.g. showing proof of address. But I was wondering if anybody knew how long it takes for the changeover of my payment from one post office to another, or maybe it all just depends...? I just about saved enough money for deposit and rent, but I'm wondering should I save more to cover myself incase there's a delay?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you :)

I moved not too long ago and payment was moved within the week so picked up my next weeks at new post office.

Dunno if it's same everywhere but would think it's pretty straight forward.
