    Hey all,
    Today I got my td110 installed. Installation went great, according to installer. I can pick up 30w to 42e no prob.

    When he connected the coax cable upto the DB, it came up please wait while turning dish to xx satellite.

    So basically the DB was not turning the dish. Installers signal meter thingy was able to turn it.

    He said its either the image or the box itself which is what I had thought.


    I have no null modem cable, so had to flash through LAN using flashwizard.

    Did this and all went well. Though it still was not working.

    Also with this Image I kept getting an error connecting to ethernet. So I had no real choice but to try flash again. This time it didn't go too well. Percentage bar froze. So I switched db off and back on, but nothing came on just the blue screen of the AV on my tv.


    Has anybody had a problem with this before( the receiver not turning dish).

    Would anybody be so kind to flash my DB for me through null modem ?:D


    I'm going to have to buy a new box anyway as its not working the motor, but if I could get this up and running it would mean I could use it to watch 28.2 until I can afford a new box. And also means I can get some money off a new box.


    I could travel to you once your In Dublin and I could throw you a tenner for your trouble.


    Oh and its a DB500s

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Have my 500s on my motor 30w to 42 east..

    Some images are a pain yes..

    I'm using a Nemisis 4.4 back up on mine at the min and its a1...

    Thanks glen, I think that's the one I had, and it didn't move the dish . So I assume it can only be the box.
