They're for the Wii, and are dirt cheap on a number of websites at the moment!

I havnet used the Hori, but the consensus on the web is that these are far superior. There is an adaptor out there which will allow these to work on PC and PS3. Ive had an Xarcade in the past and these feel better built. There heavy enough and well built..

this is a youtube of it working on the PC.

There is no doubt it is value at that price..

    Thats a nice price.
They are the same as the Madcatz street fighter standard edition sticks
The buttons will give up the ghost after a few weeks and stick won't last long either
Beauty of these Madcatz sticks is that all buttons can be easily replaced with Seimitsu or Sanwa 30m buttons.Plug and play
Stick can be changed for Sanwa JLF or Seimitsu LS32 easily also

    Resident stick expert here.

@unkychopchop, you are slightly (thankfully!) wrong.

The Madcatz TvC (Wii) (and BrawlStick (PS3/360) stick uses Madcatz' improved OEM parts, which more closely ape Sanwa JLF stick & OBSF-30 buttons.
The stick even uses the same Omron microswitches as the actual JLF!

Great to hear that it works for PS3; I'll pass this info on to FG forums.

Mmm never knew that Madcatz improved their stock parts,The original ones were pieces of Crap.Still, point is valid that it's easy to swap stick and buttons to Siemitsu or sanwa should you choose.
Always a great option to have

Can someone link what adapters they are successfully using with this?

    i got this adaptor

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160601856205&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

and have been using it on the PS3 with FBANEXT emulator perfectly with no install or anything (FBANEXT and a Custom Firmware PS3 is a very handy way of playing emulated games).... It is a USB to Classic controller adaptor and also works on a pc.

Those guys delivered it in less that a week from the far east which is excellent.

Id love a slightly shorter throw joystick if anyone has any recomendations, apparently these are very easy to mod. The buttons are fine for me for the amount of use it will get.

    What does "Shorter throw" mean?

    What does "Shorter throw" mean?

The stick moves a shorter distance before the action is registered. I think that's what it is anyway.

/Edit: Check out the video below for a better idea.

less travel, tighter movement on joystick..

    I'd recommend Seimitsu LS-40-01 or LS-55-01.

Both fit into Madcatz sticks no problem, too.

The Suzo 500 would also be good, but would take a lot more work to fit (plus it's ugly; wish better shafts were available).

I have recently picked this up for €15 and have the mayflash classic controller adapter aswell. It does not work with windows 7 64 bit. There is a problem with the drivers, it says not recognised when plugged in even after installing the drivers from the mayflash website. So just wondering if anyone else has the same setup and got it working.
