I think now lad if you look up how many Irish were killed in London or new York in the last decade it would be many more so are you going to say don't go there too?
Norway must be blacklisted for centuries if we were to look at it like that..
In fact you better stay away from Dublin by your logic too as I'm pretty sure a few Irish were killed there too..
Remember the poor Swiss student that was murdered in Galway city 2yrs ago? When should we tell foreigners it's safe to come to Ireland?
    See my point?
You can't write off a country due to a random murder by a deranged boyfriend
The lads here are off to Bodrum next month and can't wait.
They've been several times and say it's great crack.

I'm going this Sunday. I've been there a few times as a cruise ship stop and wanted to spend more time there.

Lots to do and see which is important for me as i dont really do the lazing around the pool thing too well.

the only people who have not liked it in my experience are blonde girls as the Tukish lads hound them!

I have been there the last 5 years.
Bought an apartment there back then. I love the place.
Very friendly people, great weather, great food

If any of you are heading over soon feel free to PM me and I can give you a list of places to eat etc .
Thats said part of any holiday is finding some gems yourself, but I am always glad to help.

    PS

As for the deaths last week, the fact this stuff happens so infrequently over there that we see, people will say its very dangerous when it does happen.

In that case you would never leave your house and go anywhere based on news reports.

To those 2 poor women and thier families my deepest sympathies.

Also agree with the www.kusadsi.biz website its very good.

Love it! Turkey is great. Make sure you visit Ephesis and the temple of Artemis, it's one of the seven wonders of the world. Boat trips, jeep treks, turkish baths etc.

Turkish people are so welcoming and have a great sense of humour. Great destination, we stayed at the Sea Pearl hotel, I'd highly recommend it!

Not anymore, the Turks put on rough Dublin accents now when you tell them you are Irish, the shops, bars and restaurants are way over priced, if you are going for sightseeing it is a fantastic experience, lots of places for that and the beaches.

I prefer the bodrum/gumbet area a couple of 100 miles from kusadasi.
Better beaches and loads of bars and clubs.
The turks are great btw :)
