For Sale: Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL 2011 Wheels

Selling those because I am going to go to tubs. They are the 2011 model, 52mm deep, they look great and they make an awesome whooping sound.

They haven't many kms on, as these are my "good" wheels. Also they have never been crashed or mistreated. They were bought I think last September from Jedi-sports.

They are retailing for about 750-800euro at the moment, I am asking 620 for a quickish sale. No tires or cassette with them.

Note: I am leaving for holidays on Saturday so if they are not sold by sat morning I will relist them when I get back.

I decided to give a go on tubulars. Other than that these are great and bombproof wheels.

Cheers. You can get a mavic freehub fairly cheap though if you are interested. It's a 10min job in an lbs to change it.

I have a set of HED 3C wheels with new vittoria eve corsa tubs on them. They have only been used as a race set roughly 500km on them. Would you be interested in doing a deal. Have wheels bags also for them

Wasn't too impressed to hear the Mavic skewers had been replaced with junk for the sale.........sharp practice IMO.

The junk are from Shimano wheels. I just gave them because he asked me on the phone for skewers. I noticed that I didn't have the mavic ones (I think I gave along with the old bike) so I gave him a spare set I had. Mavic skewers are equally junk. It was never advertised with skewers anyway. I can give him a tenner back if he feels "ripped off", you certainly got a big discount on the asking price.

From my dealings with Astra, he's not into "sharp practice" he's probably one of the most helpful, genuine and straight guys you'll meet on here.

+1 straight as a die and easy to deal with.

Ps Mavic skewers are fairly meh anyway. Notorious for being "rattly" .
