Tallaght Office Site

Guys I am fairly new to airsoft and was reading the other boards about what sites are available and the closest one to me was 'The Office' In Tallaght. Does anyone know if its still open as I don't see any events for it. The one I refer to is here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055935360 It's a pity there are none closer to Dublin South. I know there was one in Bray, but it seems to have closed down? http://www.gotactical.ie/ - Anyway, I was looking for a topic with a list of local clubs to Dublin. Red Barn and all them are to far out.

Thanks Listermint, I found it. KonFusion, thanks for the link. Handy site but all of the locations and miles out. I was surprised not to find one up the very back of Tick Knock. Any ideas is the one in Bray indoor or out? As It doesn't say on the site you gave. Maybe someone might know. . .

The site in Bray was outdoor but it's closed now.

Yes, Oakridge is just on the outskirts of Rathcoole and is a damn good site and extremely reasonable on price.

As for The Office, from what I know Airsoft Reloaded from next week will no longer be running The Office in Tallaght, they're moving to another location in Naas so their website or FB page will be of no help but The Office Tallaght will stay open under new management. The Office in Tallaght is located in the Cookestown Industrial Estate

Jay, when you say it will be under new management. Does this mean that some other airsoft is taken it over or what? That would be great if that was the case. Any idea what Reloadeds' new site is going to be like?

Yes, The Office will be staying open as an airsoft venue:D As for Reloadeds new site, have no info just yet other than its another office block in Naas, a somewhat larger office block I've heard:D

The new site "Vacant" is not just an office block lads, its multiple warehouses, a huge amount of offices, corridors, kill houses, outdoor areas with concrete buildings to fight through and cars/trucks/trailors to fight around.

As far as I am aware the block will be opened by another site owner as soon as we leave and good luck with it, I guess its easier than finding a site and building the popularity of it yourself, a bit ****ty but what are you going to do.

Keith we are operating a minibus service for our customers in Dublin to bring them down and drop them home from Naas as a lot of our Tallaght customers asked us to arrange it so you can jump on there if it suits!

Mate, that's a great service you're providing for the airsoft crew who don't drive. And you're probably the only airsoft group to do this for there members. :cool:

As I already said on your forums mate, I'm out near Dun Laoghaire. So, will the minibus be collecting people out this way too? Because I don't fancy carrying my guns/equipment on public bus's mate.

There are two transports heading out dude, the first is a fairly big coach and is going from Balbriggan-Swords-Coolock-Finglas-City centre-Tallaght-Naas. Would town do you?

The second is just an eight seater but we haven't got the route set out for that yet, we haven't got prices sorted out yet because we have two different groups that may be doing it but I'll publish the prices soon.

Whenever there is enough people to warrant a bus stop the bus will go dude (or if its not to much of a journey from the actual route).

Well, ye but, It would be a last resort mate, as I cant get a bus to town with my gun on my back lol. Ya know what I mean like? If you run the mini bus out this way, let me know what the price will be.

Hi all,

We're just letting everyone know that The Block was broken into and burned down yesterday. The entire place is in shambles, has no power, no reception and is an absolute death trap and so unfortunately we had no choice but to close it permenantly.

Sorry to those who had bookings for this and next week but we'll see you in the new place.

It was dude but its just a safety hazard now, all of what I said above plus there is no toilets, fire exits and there is a leak in the roof spanning all floors but sure the new one is a million times better so be sure to pay us a visit

The damage I seen seems to be have contained to front lobby, whole building wasn't destroyed. As for rest, no fire exits, are you saying there was none when I played there and toilets never worked half the time I was there either so nothin new there. Seems alot of slanging goin on here to drum up business for new site, cheap tactics if you ask me:(

First of all how does describing how badly damaged the place is drum up business for the new site? The pure epicness of the new site will speak for itself, secondly there was the appropriate amount of fire exits in the building when we were there but as the one by the boardroom was broken through the chippy had to screw it shut (meaning there is none).

There is no power, several exterior windows are smashed, there is no running water, no toilets, no fire exits, no reception, there is a leak in the roof which ends up on the ground floor after soaking certain rooms on the other floors first (if you haven't spotted it you will soon enough if you go inside and check it out), no ceilings in most corridors and a lot of rooms out of play purely by the place getting wrecked so severely and constantly that we couldn't fix them fast enough to keep the entire place in play. Do you disagree with any of this and I am speaking to our customers here so they know that we are no longer running the place so what does it have to do with you anyway?

Airsoft Reloded, if you wish to promote your new site (and we've given you more than enough leeway posting about it here) then renew your site / retailer subscription and post it in the relevant forum.
