That is ridiculous value to train with someone who was voted the third best Wrestler in the world.

Does that mean your going to attend Rovert? It is ridiculously under priced for a wrestler of Fergal's knowledge and experience but we want to make it available to all levels of income.

    Training before Profit.

Unfortunately not. I am having a tough enough time training to be an Accountant. :pac:

You are doing a good thing. Cant imagine being a wrestler in Ireland and not going, honestly.

I just wanted to give this seminar my absolute and whole hearted thumbs up! My friend and I travelled over from England for the last one (during mania weekend) and really enjoyed not only the training but the lads were friendly and made us feel at home.

Devitts knowledge is endless and is a completely approachable guy. I had an absolute blast and gave me a completely new approach at wrestling from a diet and fitness condition -- Since March I have changed my diet and training completely purely because how inspired I was from Devitt.

I only wish I could make it over for this :-( I decided I to quit wrestling training though and focus on my fitness and nutrition before I fly out to Canada to train with Lance Storm. It'll be an amazing weekend I bet though!

Would you showing the basics like bumps and pulling punches or will it be more like a watch and learn sort of thing? Either way it's well worth the cash.

Basics would involve Bumps, running the ropes, locking up/collar & elbow tied-up, headlocks etc.

    Pulling Punches??? Certainly not!:D

Sounds very good. Maybe next year though for me. Could do with putting on a stone or two, or five.

wouldn't mind attending the show at 6pm. How much will tickets be, and is there any chance of a Devitt exhibition match?

I was hoping i'd have to opportunity to train/meet Prince Devitt, but that's absolutely horrible timing for me. I hope this happens again. Best of luck with the seminar ffpw :)

The show itself will be free admission, everyone from Boards.ie is welcome. Its the last 'gym show' of its kind. We're using it as a pilot for something better that we hope to have launched by October. So a strong knowledgeable loud wrestling crowd would be great for this show.

I'll explain more about the October reference in due course once all the snags are sorted.

I can say with 99% confidence that Prince Devitt will not be wrestling on the show. Although I wouldn't rule him out having some involvement.

I'll just give this a bump seeing as the seminar is now only two weeks away. There are some reviews on the Fight Factory Facebook page of the last Devitt seminar if anyone would like to check them out. Just look at the discussions page. Places are filling up so book your place now.

For anyone wanting to get into wrestling or further develop their skills this is well bang for your buck.

Devitt is on a another par, the things you can learn from him are amazing.

Best of luck to all involved, your in for a treat if your are attending.

I contacted the FFPW office in regards to this, I am going to attend this. At very least I will get to meet Fergal Devitt and find out if I have the ability for the training once and for all. Should be good.

The weekend is nearly upon us folks. Anyone who is thinking 'should I?' you definately should. This will be the most important training session of your wrestling days. This Saturday and Sunday its all going on with the Devitt seminar, the MSW show on Saturday and the Gym show on the Sunday in the Fight Factory. Irish wrestling is very much alive.

This is absolutely brilliant value and I'm hoping it's not too late to throw my name into the hat for a seminar with the hugely talented Prince Devitt.

Similarly to Avian, once I obtain a college degree and can amass the finances (:P) I'll be looking to train with Lance Storm over in Canada. Of course I'll be looking to cut my teeth in the FFPW gym first and training with Fergal will be invaluable, hopefully it wasn't too late to book a spot. (Today!)

If you could drop us an e-mail with your name just to confirm the spot to info@fightfactoryprowrestling.com that would be great.

For soemthing like this, do you need to have some experience in wresrling or can complete green horns try it?

I would love to give soemthing like this a go, but more for the actual cardio work out with the likes of Devitt than any actual skills.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 234 ✭✭Justin Ternet

We have a few guys with little to no experience joining in tomorrow. They'll be given a crash course in the basics before joining the Devitt group. Coming to one of these seminars usually makes or breaks people. For instance the lads from 'Don't try this at home' joined in the last session, they arrived as boys and left as men. Sore tired and emotional men.

Can anyone give me an idea of train prices from dublin city to bray?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 234 ✭✭Justin Ternet

From dublin to bray cant be any more than 3 euro its been a while since I was on the public transport but i know the bus is faster cheaper and leaves you right outside the venue. FFPW office would know.

Went a couple weeks ago from Pearse Street, it was 4.90 return. There was a bit of a Spanish Student Royal Rumble going on trying to find somewhere to sit though!

Ok, some last minute advice to everyone coming...

Buses are the best way to get to the 'Fight Factory'. E2.30 is the fare. The 145 bus route starts at Heuston Station and stops all along the quays, outside Q-Bar and Nassau St.(opp Reids). Its then hits the N11 all the way to Bray.

Jump off at the 1st stop in Bray. You should see an 'On The Run' garage as you enter. If you pass by a Topaz garage you've gone one stop to far.

DARTS: They cost E2.90 single and leave you about a 15min walk away. Ring Phil Boyd on 0857356972 if anyone is looking for directions.
