    Why not get a €10 soldering iron and have a go yourself? If you can get one and figure it out (it's not difficult), you'll be able to work on all your guitars. It's not like putting guitars together is intricate enough to need an expensive iron and lots of electronics experience!

    exactly what he said... it's cheap and a very useful skill that's easy to get the basics of... watch a few videos on youtube, buy a cheap kit and give it a go!

    it's worth it!

    I'd agree in giving it a go yourself. If you learn you can easily do pickup changes and put in pots and switches easily enough without having to take it to a tech each time. There's not a whole lot to it, watch a few videos on youtube and take your time the first few times and you'll get the job done.
