    Hi guys,

    Complete DIY newbie here!

I need a tension rod for holding up curtains across a 210cm/83 inch space.

I would ideally like something that could support curtains that weigh 3KG without having to drill into the walls.

Does such a product exist? If so, where should I start looking?

Google didn't give me any great answers.

    Thanks!

Drapery shop like Hickeys,Home Focus or Nichols sell these, but they are not made to take a 3 kilo weight.

These adjustable poles are meant for net curtains and not actual propper curtains, they will sag down in the middle the second you try to hang heavy curtains on them.

A pole that extends past 2 meters is around 10-15 euro, depending on what shop you buy from.
