    Hey,

Been thinking of getting a lesson as I've gotten back into golf and a lesson is needed. I'm in Waterford and came across Ian St. John, http://www.ianstjohngolf.com/ .

Just wondering if anyone has any expierience with him or even recommend someone?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I don't know anything about ISJ so not going to say whether he's good or bad but I have recently had a lesson from Jimmy Bolger who teaches out of the Kilkenny Golf Club and I found him excellent to be honest with you. Cost me €30 for half an hour but he stayed with me for over an hour working on various bits and pieces to try tidy up my game. Jimmy is one of the leading Pro's on the golfing circuit in Ireland so at least he knows what he's talking about from experience.

But I suppose when all is said and done it depends pretty much on how much time you put in after the lesson on your own putting into the practice the advise he/she gave you .

    Best of luck with it.
