Might be worth having a read over this http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/import/biological/therapeutic-foods-dietary

I dont know anything about 5htp but a quick search on google brought up a thread from 2007 where people wherent having any problems bringing it in although that was 4 years ago so things may have changed. I'd link to it but that forum seems to discus a lot of drug use so the Boards mods might not appreciate it.

Another link that came up was http://anabolicminds.com/forum/nutraplanet/167982-newest-updated-aus.html which seems to be from this year and is listing a load of supplements that seem to make it through.

It's just an amino acid, should be a problem, not sure if you'd list if as food or medication when declaring it. It's availible in australia accordign to google
