    Hi,

I was looking for some advice on how to do a lunge properly.

When you step forward and then dip should you push up with your back leg or just use it for balance?

    why not try reverse lunges???
less stress on the knee, good core control and great for improving hip mobility
make sure front knee is 90 degrees and get the back leg way back and that knee close to the floor (not touching)
push up through your front heel
