    Hi Everyone

Looking for information about a company called bras.ie (they are a business consultancy firm). Found a bit of info about them on the web but looking to see if anyone has used them or know any other info about them.

    Thanks in advance.

Not really a matter for this forum.

Site is "down for maintenance and upgrading" allegedly.

That's a bit of a strange name for a consultancy firm unless they're trying to emphasise the support that they offer their clients or something :).

I find this whole thread very uplifting :)

"After completing their first project together, our founders Niall Murphy and Will Mallard needed a business name and a friend asked them what services the business would be offering...their reply started: Business Review, Advice, Support and he interrupted laughing “B, R, A, S...bras call it bras!"

A Galway-based consultancy firm has announced the creation of 32 new jobs.
BRAS.ie, provides business review, advice and support to the hotel, retail and hospitality sectors from its head office in Eyre Square.
It's now expanding its operations to Dublin, Cork and Limerick and is creating 32 new positions for management and marketing experts.
Bras.ie Marketing Manager Will Mallard says the company is busier than ever in the downturn.

Consulting firm bras.ie seeking talented and motivated graduates for internship positions with the company.
Due to a growth in operations, including the opening of a new office in Dublin, bras.ie is now hiring high-calibre graduates for a twelve week position as an associate consultant.
Internships are offered in a range of disciplines including marketing, finance, HR, IT and management. The internship offers an opportunity for graduates to develop their skills, gain work experience and take the first step on the career ladder.
The internship programme is an integral part of the bras.ie culture and four graduate interns have gone on to permanent positions with the company after coming through the programme. A fifth bras.ie intern has gone on to an international marketing position with a New York firm.

    Hi Biko

Thanks for this but I already have this info off the net, I'm looking for people who have dealt with them on a business level. Could this please be moved back to the Galway section as this section is not suitable.

Forgive my apparent cynicism but does the ' blurb ' about this outfit not sound reminiscent of the misleading job ads from direct sales and marketing companies ?
I'm willing to wager the 32 ' jobs ' are all in sales and as for the '' first step on the ladder '' etc , well lets just say maybe I have spent too much time on this forum and allowed it to turn me all questioning and disbelieving

Am I the only person here who is suspicious of this company ?

Agree Delancy but I think the 32 jobs are all intern positions (free graduates) but what I am looking for is has anyone used them and got results????

Have you tried calling them and asking for client
    references?

    Hi Jabbaboy

No I didn't, as this would not work. Found a small bit of info at the weekend that verified some of my suspicions.

Looking for as much info as possible on these guys.

Did some digging of my own to see if our suspicions are valid. Found nothing myself but didn't look very hard.
