Some questions (Freesat)

I want to get rid of my monthly subscription TV package which is provided by UPC. I was thinking of getting Freesat and I would really appreciate some advice by others on here.

At the moment I have TV (set top boxes) in 3 rooms. In both of my sons bedrooms upstairs and in my downstairs living room. I want to replace this set up with 2 Freesat set top boxes upstairs and a Freesat recorder set top box downstairs. I also have a sky dish on the back of my house which was installed about 10 years ago and is still wired right into my living room. Can I use this dish or is it too old?

I would also appreciate any advice on equipment that I may need, Set top boxes, cable, connectors, satfinders, type of LNB, etc etc.
I was hoping to purchase the necessary equipment from Amazon which seems to be the cheapest. But would their boxes and equipment only work in the UK or are they good to go here too?

I was also hoping to add Saorview or Saorsat at some stage in the future. But since this does not come in a way that could be just added to the Freesat set up, it would mean drilling a lot more holes in my house and running more cable around everywhere, so it just does not seem worth it. The only way that I can think of doing this would be to place the aerial near to my Sky dish and run the cable beside the sky cable and drill just 1 more hole and just have a Saorview box in my living room and not upstairs, Unless anybody knows a better way?

Sorry if my questions seem a bit basic, but I am a bit new to this and I just want to make sure I buy the right equipment first time round.
