Hi just spent a small fortune completely upgrading a steyr aug a1 (JG) the gun shoots consistently at 315 fps, lovely so far, but my question is
Bearing in mind I am using an sp90 what is the best motor/ gear set up?
    High speed motor/ standard gears
    High torque motor/ standard gears
High speed motor/ high speed gears
High torque motor high speed gears
Or standard motor high speed gears
It's a V3 so I know it will take some stick and every component has been replaced, just need a nudge in the right direction, although the current rof is more than acceptable, I just want the option of laying down some serious plastic!!

High Speed Motor and High Speed Gears :)

G&P M120 and VFC High Speed Gears

Rate of fire with a standard 9.6v (all things being considered) should be approx 22-25 bbs per sec. You could go 11.1v but not knowing what parts you've used, its hard to tell.

anything over 22 bbs per sec is more than enough for anyone. Once you head north of 25 towards 30 you start getting feeding problems and/or timing issues.

The problem with mix-matching various different upgrade parts from many different manufacturer in a stock shell is COMPATIBILITY. Sometimes everything seperatley are perfect but it just wont run right.

Ceers for the advice, I have used Ultimate parts throughout the 'box and they seem like pretty good value, their bearing spring guide is a nice piece of kit! And the gun seems an awful lot quieter. Have a g&p hop on the way also, know where I can pick up a G&P motor in Ireland? Can't wait for stuff from the Kong anymore!
