My friend's after posting this new acquisition on Facebook. Picked it up somewhere in Kildare, I believe.

Does anyone know anything about this? The typography and the name definitely suggest something Irish, but I can find no information online.

Perhaps someone did a custom branding job on a frame, but I do remember hearing of various framebuilders operating in the midlands throughout past decades.

I remember Cahills very well, from when they were opposite the church. Didn't realise they rebranded the frames.

Just got an email, he says it's got a sticker on it, Italian maker called "Locatelli".

They didnt rebrand anything; they brought the bikes in with their own branding.
