I have a Mk5 Golf GTI. Can I put any alloys I like on it? Would they need to meet any standards? I see replicas of the original GTI pepper pot style but don't think I would chance those.

You get what you pay for, cheap alloys are more likely to buckle etc from potholes and the like.

Yes you can put whatever alloys you want on.. But make sure they fit.. Don't go for cheap alloys on a GTi they'll look crap and will be crap (soft alloy)
