Is there any way to watch BBC iPlayer on Wii here? I downloaded it but it said all the usual, 'can only be viewed in the Uk'

Is there a way around it?

Well here in the Republic it is a problem

Anyway, normal proxy websites wont work for BBC iPlayer.

The only way to get around the BBC iPlayer to work usually outside the UK is software you have to download which isn't an option for the Wii.

If anyone know's a way I'd be interested in this too.

That software you speak of. I know on routers that theres some way can setup so that all traffic goes straight through it till the pc. DMZ on mine, says "Assign the public IP address of a connection to a device on your home network"

Dunno if that would work, think the network might be more of a problem then though. And it also would be goin through ur pc
